The Black Hole Of Outsourcing

  • Post published:February 24, 2015

If you’ve ever heard the phrase, “There are two types of people,” you’re already halfway to understanding how to save money, time and resources when outsourcing.

In this particular case, however, these two types of people, or companies, will waste your time.

Company N: The Nerds

Nerds, as knowledgable and experienced in development as they may be, don’t have business sense.

And Company B: The Businesspeople

Businesspeople, on the other hand, have that business sense but fail when it comes to technical know-how.

So, who do I look for?

In development, you need a one-stop shop; a company that understands the value of time, has practiced business sense, technical talent and will stop you in your tracks the next time you get that wild hair, saving you both time and money.

Whereas our Nerd group enjoys learning, developing new talent and playing around with ideas, they do these things on your time; your dollar, and it will rarely work out for you.

Businesspeople likely won’t create on your dime but this benefit becomes irrelevant when the fact is they couldn’t “create” if they wanted to; their focus is utilizing business tactics to suck you in, converting leads into dollar signs.

Enter the shining light; the one rare party that falls right in the middle, with just enough business sense to do well and an immense amount of technical ability. One such party is vteams itself. So, if you’re looking to make the right decision the first time without falling into what we like to call “the black hole of outsourcing,” feel free to reach out to us.
