What do you do when the client who hired you for work, stops giving it to you? If you’re a vteams developer like the one we are about to discuss, you take the initiative and make improvements to the clients HRM system. That’s right. It had been a long two and half months for this lone programmer, and after realizing work wasn’t coming his way, he did what any self-motivated employee would do and transferred the client’s HRM system into a mobile application so that attendance procedures could be more easily managed regardless of managerial location. Note, the client didn’t require the application, but the developer wanted to ensure work stability and had to think of something to get the client’s attention.

The mobile HRM application was ingenuous. The work on behalf of the developer would ultimately help the client ensure attendance guidelines were met, while also speeding up the process with its accessibility. As a result of the developer’s work, the client ultimately launched the HRM application on an experimental basis. During a Test phase, it was apparent the application would become a reliable and ideal solution for tracking attendance no matter the location. There was no hesitation in taking the solution Live as a companywide implementation running parallel to the web application. Now, that’s what we call all in a day’s work!
