Traditionally, third-party websites aren’t the most popular of entities. Sometimes, though they can be used to the extreme benefit of our clients.
One such site owner wanted to provide these third-party websites not just access to his product showcase function but the ability to both add and edit these products, displaying them on their own websites for their unique client bases and effectively spreading his product across the web.
There were quite a few competing similar services out there. We knew we needed to create a user-friendly, top-of-the-line system.
Our challenge was in ensuring that this integration was a simple process; much like WordPress itself, even those with basic technical expertise needed to be proficient with these duties in a matter of minutes.
Throughout this process, we’d not only enable the checkout process to be fleeting (session-based) but to secure a solid bridge between these third-party websites and our own product management feature.
Putting Ourselves In The Place Of The Customer
As with any project we tackle, we weren’t simply looking to develop a solid system and move along. Each task is completed with the business in mind; what feature will make this program more competitive? If we were to be in the market for such a function, what would ensure that we went with this program as opposed to a competitor’s?
By the end of our development, we’d made sure that even our client’s clients could integrate their own product SKUs, display as many products as they liked and make payments with absolute ease.
As it stands, our client has gained a number of new customers due to the cost-effective, highly functional solution that we provided.
