Closure Report: vteam #395. SalesForce to SugarCRM. Too busy to launch.

Closure-Report-vteam-#395-SalesForce-to-SugarCRM-Too-busy-to-launchSYNOPSIS:

Team span: July 2013 to July 2013
Duration: 2 Weeks
Technology: SugarCRM / PHP
Development Manager: Asim Zeeshan
Engineers: Usman Hameed
Reason for closure: Missed Launch

vteam #395 was started for a company in the energy sector. Our client wanted to convert his operation from SalesForce to SugarCRM. He wanted to use SugarCRM as a foundation and then modify it to suit his line of business. He planned to demo the new build to his team. If approved, the SugarCRM build would replace their current setup and save them thousands of dollars in monthly bills.

We started the team on a free trial basis on July 12, 2013 and it continued till July 25, 2013. After that, the team was closed because Client never came online, never talked to his developer Usman Hameed or to Development Manager Asim Zeeshan and never returned to calls from Fahad, our Client Services Manager.

At the end of the trial, Client admitted that he got very busy and could not get the time or resources to get the project going. vteam #395 was one of the few teams that never took off.
